We were informed that our account would be sent to abandoned property because of inactivity unless they heard from us. We called and were told we were all set because we contacted them.

Two months later we get notice that our account was transferred to abandoned property. I called customer service, they could see we had called in February, but had no answer as to why the transfer occurred and told me to call abandoned property. Called abandoned property department, they said they had no access to the the information in our file about the call. We needed to sign and notarize a form to either reactivate or close out account and get our money back.

No brainer, we have to close out on this.

Customer service has always been non existent. Now we just wait and see what fees they tack on for abandoning us.....
